Hello everyone, today the discussion will focus more on how to play a certain sport, this certain sport happens to be badminton. This game may seem a little unimportant but it is actually a very big deal in the country of India. The country of India has 6 teams that compete in the Premier Badminton League. Now here comes the important part, how to play badminton. The first step someone should do is knowing the equipment and rules. The object being hit back and forth between teams is called the Shuttlecock. The racquet in badminton is similar to one from tennis except it has a smaller head with less square inches. The shaft is much thinner and longer for a much easier reach into the air. Step two will be knowing the rules. The server is determined by something simple like a flip of a coin or rock-paper-scissors. The first server can only score one point at first. If the shuttlecock rests on the opponents side then the opponent wins the next serve. If the shuttlecock lands on the opponents side or is hit twice on one side then the point automatically goes to the opposite side. Most games of badminton are played in games of fifteen. The games are played in three, and best two out of three wins the match. The winner of each game has to win by two or more points. Teams can be made of many people or the most common number of people on a team are only one or two. Therefore the games are called either singles or doubles. The main point of the game is to hit the colored ball on the top of the shuttlecock as it approaches the ground. The gravity will force the rubber ball to point downward so it may take some practice to get good at. Badminton is not an easy sport as it takes a lot of practice and very few steps to perfect.

Madden 17
Hello ladies and gentlemen, today my colleague Brian and I will be talking about the most famous sports game release to date. Have you ever wondered what the best sports game of 2016 is?
Madden 17 is all about beating your buddies for bragging rights, destroying online players. Everything a huge football fan would like. This game may sound like the perfect game, but Madden 17 like any other game has its ups and downs. Madden 17 has amazing graphics, sound quality, and even more online opportunities, smaller presentation details. Negative aspects of the game are, lingering game play issues such as injuries don't always occur as they should, running out of bounds doesn't always stop the clock, no decent halftime shows, connected franchise and customization are still lacking. Other that that, the best game available on almost every platform including; Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox one, xbox 360, and mobile. All these reasons make this game the best game of 2016. I would personally give this game a 10/10.

The History of Basketball
Hello, its about time for a blog. Today I am going to be giving all of you some insight on the sport called basketball. If you do not already know, basketball is a very popular sport internationally. Players from all over the world compete for their nation's team(s) for a chance to become champions. Basketball was invented by a fellow by the name of, James Naismith in Springfield, Massachusetts in the year of 1891. James was a Canadian physical education instructor for the Young Men's Christian Association(YMCA), attempting to create a new found sport that could be popular but also was less accident-prone than football. He was given the task to invent a new sport that could keep the class occupied, since they were acting disorderly. It was winter, and very cold outside so Naismith decided to invent a game that could be played indoors. His plan did not come to play automatically as he needed to think back to his childhood. He remembered watch rugby players throw a ball into boxes. Naismith had the idea to nail up boxes and have the class throw a ball and attempt to make it. The only resources he had were some peach baskets. The rules that went along with the new game were also created by Naismith in "about an hour." The new game became popular after the graduates of YMCA traveled widely to other universities. One by the name of Forest "Phong" Allen went on to play for Kansas University and also coached. While he coached he accumulated a total of 771 wins and coached a future NBA star, Wilt Chamberlain.
The very first official professional basketball league was formed in 1898. The money that was made in the late 1890's was a lot less than today's basketball players make, Professional players earned a total of $2.50 for home games and only $1.25 for road games. Close to 100 years later, Juwan Howard, a very popular player for the Washington Bullets (now the Washington Wizards) was being competed for offers of 100 million dollars over seven seasons. NBA teams today recruit foreign players from several different nations. Although they play for an american team, they do go back to their home nation to compete in the Olympics. Today, approximately 250 million people worldwide play basketball for an organized team or casual "pick up games." In the span of 120 years, basketball is one of the most popular sports to date.
